This document describes TRIPDAZE’s policy and standard practices regarding the handling and/or storage of personally identifiable information (PII) and data. This policy applies to our website, email and text messages, and social media accounts. When you use the above-mentioned services and platforms, you agree to the terms in this policy.

Collection of personally identifiable information

At various stages of the booking process, we may collect and store search history, IP address of your device, screen resolution, type of browser used, operating system and settings, access times and location.

Whenever you book with TRIPDAZE, we may require additional information from you including but not limited to your name and the names of any accompanying travelers, age, birthday, gender, passport number, email address, telephone number, credit card information, and billing address. If you choose to register with us, we will collect - at the minimum - your email address and password, and optionally other preference information you provide to us, and in doing so, you authorize TRIPDAZE to use such information for future communications.

We may collect information about you via tracking tools like cookies and beacons, and via third parties’ platforms like Facebook and Instagram, that will allow us to determine your physical location and enable us to enhance and personalize your experience and provide you with offers and services that may be of interest to you. We may use ‘location services’ to help you find the closest hotel based on your current location or send you messages about nearby landmarks, restaurants, museums etc.

How collecting Personal Information helps

Collecting Personal Information enables us to improve our systems and services, and helps us better understand our customer’s needs.

Collecting your bookings history and itinerary information helps us offer you more relevant advertising and recommendations.

In addition to the benefits listed above, we use Personal Information and data to send booking confirmations, alerts and notifications you have subscribed to, and/or notification about local events, weather alerts, and any useful information that could improve your travel experience.

Opt-out Choices

Marketing email has an opt-out URL where you can unsubscribe from any communication at any time. You can also email us at [email protected]to opt-out.

Sharing your Personal Information

We may share your personal information with our suppliers, with payment service providers, and with other travel partners including travel agencies, hotels, airlines, car rental companies, and travel insurance providers. These third parties will process your personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies and as applicable by law.

TRIPDAZE is not responsible for any data or information about your itinerary that you choose to display on social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram.

We may share personal information to law enforcement or other authorities for any criminal investigations and/or court orders. We may also disclose your personal information if deemed necessary for the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal acts.

Protecting your Personal Information

Our servers and data centers are located in the U.S Central, with platforms and services hosted on the Microsoft Azure Cloud. Given the nature of Cloud Services, databases and application data can shift to other servers due to factors such as high traffic and/or the need for additional server resource. As a result, you agree that your personal information may be transferred to and stored to servers outside U.S. Central (ex. Datacenters in EU) and your personal information may be subject to access requests from governments, courts, or law enforcement in those countries.

Accessing your Personal Information

You can manage or delete your account at any time. You can request the deletion or rectification of your personal information. However, regulatory provisions affecting accounting, processing of claims, and mandatory data retention, may prohibit deletion of personal information.

Cookies and other tracking tools

TRIPDAZE uses tracking tools such as cookies

We and our suppliers use several common tracking tools. We use these tools to collect usage and demographic information about you over time and across different Web sites when you use our platforms. We also have third parties (ex. advertisers) that collect personal information this way. Tools we use may include browser cookies. Your browser will store these cookies on your computer in a small file.

We and our advertising partners may also use web beacons (single pixel GIF images). These web beacons are placed in the code of a Web page or an email newsletter. When you access a partner site within our mobile applications, we may track your activity on that site.

By using the platforms, you give us your consent to the use of any of the cookies and tracking tools mentioned in this policy.

TRIPDAZE uses tracking tools for following purposes

  • To track new visitors to the platforms.
  • To help us recognize your browser as a previous visitor. This includes saving and remembering any preferences that may have been set while your browser was visiting our website.
  • To store your username and password if you are registered with us.
  • To work with online advertising companies to display targeted advertising on our website or any third-party platforms that you visit and may be based on your activities or behaviors on such websites and platforms.
  • To help improve our website offering and for capacity planning purposes. We or our third-party service providers may set analytics cookies. These allow us to gather aggregated or segmented information about the types of visitors that access our website and the pages and advertisements that they view. In order to better understand your use of our website, we or our third-party service providers may collect information on such use, including pages visited and links.

How to control tracking tools and opt-out of online behavioral advertising

Your browser may give you the ability to control cookies. How to do this varies from browser to browser. You should view the Help menu on the browser you use for further information.

To opt out of having your online behavior tracked by TRIPDAZE for advertising purposes, please email [email protected]. However, opting out of receiving interest-based advertising does not mean you will no longer receive advertising from TRIPDAZE or third parties at all; rather it means that most of the advertising that you will see will not be based on your particular browsing preferences. In addition, TRIPDAZE may still collect information for other purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

We may also use Google Analytics to collect demographic and interest data about you (such as age, gender, and interests), including through Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. Choices you make are browser and device specific. Some aspects of our site use cookies to function. You may not be able to use these features if you set your device to block cookies. If you block or delete cookies or opt out of online behavioral advertising, not all of the tracking that we have described in this policy will stop.
